LAMRA6.2 shotgun loading assist

Description

LAMRA6.2 is a fast, small and ultra-lightweight multi-purpose shotgun shell holder that allows for several versatile mounting options. Because of the size and versatility, it will require a minimum space from your equipment when attached. Storage of the complete holder together with the shells is easy and fast when you want to protect the shotgun shells from the environmental conditions. Quick mounting from storage is possible with for example a carabiner. If the holder is mounted fixed, filling the holder is as fast and easy than emptying the holder.

This product has been developed for rapid loading of up to 6 shotgun shells. The shell holder will allow various modern shotgun loading styles for unmodified shotguns, releasing 1-3 shells to the users hand at a time. The remaining shells will remain captive in the holder securely.  With minimal training, the shotgun loading speed and success rate will be significantly improved compared to a pouch, traditional elastic loops or a shotgun side saddle.

Mounting:
– The MOLLE-strap is included with the LAMRA6.2 allows mounting to 1, 2 or 3 PALS-grids or a up to 45mm wide belt.
– The MOLLE-clips included will allow perpendicular mounting to 2 PALS-grids. This will significantly reduce the required mounting area, but also the capacity of the holder is reduced down to 3 shells.
– LAMRA6.2 can be quickly attached for example to a carabiner (width <6mm) and hung upside down from your equipment. Carabiner not included, available separate – see accessories **LINK**
– A hook and loop plate can be attached on the back of the LAMRA6.2, allowing attachment to a hook and loop panel. Plate not included, available separate – see accessories **LINK**

Weight and size of the holder is minimal when empty. The shotgun shells are securely held in the LAMRA6.2 from their rims, even when it is carried upside down.  Shells are inserted and removed by a simple and intuitive pushing and pulling motion past the retainer, sliding the rims in the grooves of the holder. The holder does not have any moving parts, the retainer will flex and allow inserting or removing shells when reasonable effort is applied.

The shells will not come out of the holder without pulling on them, regardless of the mounting orientation. There is almost limitless ways how and where to attach the LAMRA6.2, and you can choose what fits your use and equipment. But if possible, a good general rule for a fast reload, is to mount the holder to a place and orientation so that you are pulling the shells towards your shotgun loading port.

In the bottom of the LAMRA6.2 is a multi-purpose  ⌀ 5mm attachment point. Requirements for a carabiner is a mouth that is larger than 5mm and the carabiner needs to be less than 6mm wide. Size of the MOLLE-strap loops on the back are 26×2.3mm, so most of 25mm (1″) typical webbing will go through (if case some other webbing than the included strap is used).

One full LAMRA6.2 (6 shells) fits to most TACO-style singe rifle magazine pouches. Two full LAMRA6.2 (6+6 shells) fit to most AR15 double magazine pouches.
